Blogged after the Piedmont Park farmer’s market and squirrel chase.
We celebrated Thanksgiving this month, with Jason’s family at Anne’s house. We learned the gender of Dane and Stephanie’s baby – it’s a boy!
Paxton’s Eighth Month Milestones and Noteables:
- Much more mobile this month, and getting a lot of boo-boos.
- His first real boo-boo was when he flipped a blue plastic basket on his face, and cut his nose. (You can see the scab in the Afternoon in the Country photos).
- Fussy if not crawling or standing.
- Pulls himself up on the ottoman, coffee table and bathtub.
- Bumps his head a lot. A LOT.
- November 10: Jason went to Chicago for the weekend, so Grammi stayed with us. Paxton pulled himself up for the first time!
- November 17: standing up in his crib!
- Pulls Harper’s hair (sorry kiddo).
- Loves to play with the door-stop springy thingie.
- Responds to his name (which was actually happening at 7 months).
- Cruising! (as of December 1).
- Lately, has been too excited to finish his morning bottle.
That door stopper thingy! 😂 Emerson’s currently in that phase – easy, cheap entertainment I guess.
PAXTON, YOU ARE THE CUTEST!!!!!
