Remy!

Blogged in between tummy rubs for Miss Minnie.

There’s a new cousin in town…everyone, meet Remy! He’s a rat terrier, and the first doggie for Dane and Stephanie.

Admittedly, this isn’t the best photo, but the little guy has so much energy, that it’s hard to get a good shot!

Isn’t he a cutie?!

Writing this up several months later, I forgot how little Remy was when he was a puppy!

Minnie generally seemed completely uninterested in playing with this bundle of energy. She figured out pretty quickly that the bed was too high for Remy to jump onto, so that’s where Minnie stayed for most of Remy’s visit. (Excuse the mess…it’s hard moving, ya know?)

Again, Minnie appears to be totally confused as to why this little pup wants to play/bark at her.

This is a pretty classic interaction between the two of them:

Minnie trying to escape downstairs. But Remy wants to play!

Remy: Please, please, please play with me!!! Minnie: No.

Fast-forwarding a few months…

Remy loves Uncle Jason!

I love this picture! (I know you don’t Stephanie, but it’s super cute.)

Bumped into old friends (with new kids: Finley and Ashton) in Athens. Remy was the man of the hour!
